Prague after 11 years...

...is a nice thing to see. The city was beautiful then and it still is now, despite numerous attempts to deface each and every building with graffiti.

The advantages of being here now vs. being here then. I was greeted with pancakes and fresh coffee this morning. When I was here in the summer of '97 we rented a flat for 4 days and that removed me from the rigors of living in hostels for 3 months. Things like locking my bags, waking up with the first loud person of the morning, and definitely being out of there by 10 am.

I bet Bill and Lisa would have allowed me to sleep until when ever I wanted. There 2 sons on the other hand, did get up and quietly play for about 2 hours just outside of my room, now I am not sure how much longer that could have continued, so luckily I woke up at a reasonable hour this morning.

I did get to meet about 20 or so of Bill's students from his political science classes that he teaches here at the Anglo-American College (www.aac.edu). They were all very nice and everyone spoke about 4 different languages, especially English; otherwise I would not have had such a good time.

Today, we will venture out into this city of inspiring ancient architecture and graffiti to a coffee shop, thank goodness not a Starbucks, for a little time in God's word and catching with friends I have not seen it too long.
